This Mini-Symposium intends to provide a forum in which engineers, researchers, and students can exchange ideas and information about metaheuristic search procedures when applied alone or in association with optimization and machine learning techniques (including Deep neural networks, Generative large language models (LLMs), State Space Models (SSMs)) in the solution of real-world problems in engineering, biology, etc. as well as in data modeling and knowledge discovery tasks.
